I think the snow is about 3 feet here at our house. Or at least it's getting close to it. It was past my knees.
On Saturday, we went to Temple Square with my younger sister, Michaela, to look at the lights.
They were so beautiful.
There were tons of people everywhere. We chose the wrong weekend to go. The choir was putting on a Christmas concert with David Archuletta, so it was packed and no parking for blocks. That's ok, we had a nice, extra long walk to get to the temple.
It was super cold, but we were wearing a lot of layers and bundled up nicely. There were beautiful nativity scenes up from all over the world. They also had really pretty luminaries lining all the walkways.
If you get a chance to go see the lights, then do. Temple Square is a beautiful reminder of what Christmas is really about.

Everything looks beautiful. We haven't had snow here yet. I'm a little sad about not having a white christmas. But happy not to be driving in the snow. :-) I love temple square. Beautiful pictures!!! Have a merry Christmas!
Oh, as a side note. I found that Beauty and the Beast book I had you help me look for. It is just called Beauty. I can't remember the author right now but I posted it on my blog cindylifeasitis.blogspot.com with the author and a picture of it. It is a fun teen read so will take about a day to get through it, if you want a fun relaxing book for the hollidays. Enter the world of fairytales. Let me know if you read it and like it. I'm sure I have over talked it since I am remebering it from when I was a teen. But that book is what I am getting for christmas. Yeah!
